Master-Student (F/M/D) Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Master-Student to join our research group at INM - Leibniz-Institut für Neue Materialien gGmbH. The successful candidate will work on the synthesis and characterization of fluorescent carbon-based quantum dots for sensing applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize methods for synthesizing fluorescent carbon-based quantum dots
  • Characterize the structural and morphological properties of the quantum dots using various techniques
  • Investigate the optical properties of the quantum dots and their potential applications in sensing
  • Collaborate with our research group to develop new materials and technologies
Requirements:
  • Background in chemistry, materials science, or a related field
  • Experience with wet chemical synthesis and characterization techniques
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with a thorough command of the English language
  • German language skills are beneficial but not required
