MES Specialist

Job Summary

As a key member of the Bürstner GmbH & Co. KG team, we are seeking an experienced IT Consultant to join our Shared Service Team MES. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert IT consulting services to our manufacturing operations, with a focus on optimizing production processes using MES functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IT consulting services to our manufacturing operations, including analysis of internal production requirements and optimization of production processes using MES functionalities.
• Take ownership of Second Level Support for MES, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Collaborate with the MES Team Lead to implement MES processes based on local and cross-functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with production teams, MES team members, and external technical service providers.
• Support and conduct software testing, updates, and releases at the Kehl site, in collaboration with the MES Team Lead.
• Design and deliver training programs for relevant personnel at the Kehl site.

Requirements

• Relevant academic degree in business, technology, or natural sciences, with a focus on computer science or business engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, preferably with a focus on MES or production.
• Excellent English language skills.
