About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at VR Smart Guide GmbH. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to ensure smooth, scalable, and secure operations of our digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure for highly available, scalable, and secure services.
  • Lead the automation of deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines to minimize downtime and enable frequent and reliable releases.
  • Establish monitoring systems to ensure uptime, performance, and early detection of issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate DevOps principles into the software development lifecycle.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, ideally in a fintech or startup environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience with AWS (preferred) or other cloud providers (Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Expertise in container technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Fluent in English.
