About the Role

The Private Bank Data & Analytics Tribe Domain at Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft is seeking a highly skilled Mainframe/Google Cloud Developer to join our team. As a key member of our data application management team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality data solutions for our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engineering solutions to accomplish business goals
  • Build reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Ensure maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
  • Participate in forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools, and solutions in the Bank

Your Skills and Experiences

General Skills:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on computer science or software engineering (or equivalent) – with a minor in Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • Proficient communication skills, fluent in German and English (written/verbal)
  • Keeps pace with technical innovation
  • Ability to design and write code in accordance with provided business requirements

Domain-Specific Skills:

  • Data warehousing, maintenance, and support of applications with large amounts of data, various types of interfaces, and data storage, especially in file models, but also in data vault models and multi-dimensional reporting data marts
  • Mainframe and SAS base knowledge and a very good understanding of Python/PySpark is particularly desirable
  • Understanding of supporting distributed global systems, ideally both Hadoop and Google Cloud Platform
