Job Summary

Samsung is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join our International Procurement Centre in Schwalbach, Germany.

About the Role

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing companies that supply components and materials for our products. You will introduce and promote competitive companies to satisfy the requirements of our HQ R&D and Procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate companies for potential supply partnerships
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components and materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain challenges
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from a reputable university
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in Korean and English
