Supply Chain Logistics Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Logistics Specialist to join our team at Hive Technologies GmbH.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving and growing our freight business, working closely with our customers to understand their needs and develop strategies to meet them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scale our freight business in line with customer requirements
  • Own freight operations by planning and creating processes with clear documentation
  • Manage external and internal stakeholders and own partnerships with freight providers
  • Monitor and manage logistics processes, including customs clearance
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring efficient and timely transportation
  • Actively participate in the packaging process, ensuring products are securely packed for transit
  • Contact and liaise with couriers to facilitate smooth pickups and deliveries
  • Track inbound and outbound shipments to provide real-time updates
  • Prepare shipping documents for customs clearance, ensuring compliance with import and export regulations
  • Check delivery documents, enter delivery data into our software, and create transport and customs documents
  • Support with export processing to ensure timely delivery to customers outside the EU
  • Proactively solve problems to ensure customer expectations are met and go above and beyond to resolve issues
  • Be a role model for colleagues by completing tasks effectively and with a high level of quality awareness
About You

We are looking for someone with a strong background in supply chain and logistics, who is passionate about driving growth and improving operations.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, freight, or procurement
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive and hands-on mentality
  • Curiosity to dive deeper into e-commerce operations and understand customer pain points
  • Ability to structure work, prioritize tasks, and plan ahead in a fast-paced environment
  • First experience in managing small teams of 1-2 people (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency in English and one of the following languages: German, Spanish, Italian, or French (C1 level)
