Simulation IT and Tools Administrator

Orizon GmbH, Unit Aviation is seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team as a Simulation IT and Tools Administrator. As a key member of our Aviation unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of IT infrastructure for our client Airbus Defence and Space.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the continuous revision and improvement of IT infrastructure capabilities and reliability.
- Deliver commissioning and decommissioning services for backbone and user-related computing hardware.
- Take an active role in implementing an Infrastructure-as-Code paradigm across all services.
- Maintain internal IaaS Services and the underlying technologies.
- Maintain internal PaaS Services.
- Coordinate closely with corporate IT services.
- A degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure operation and design.
- High-level expertise in virtualization, storage, automation, and scripting languages.
- Experience with dynamic provisioning and immutable systems.
- Solid multi-distro Linux skills and experience in scripting languages.
- Fluent German skills and English skills are advantageous.
