Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Hahn-Schickard-Gesellschaft für angewandte Forschung. As a Research Scientist - Analytic Systems, you will be responsible for conducting research and development activities in the field of chemical analysis with expertise in physical chemistry.

• Conduct research and development activities in chemical analysis, including the application of spectroscopic techniques such as Voltammetry, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), and UV-VIS Spectroscopy.
• Develop chemical sensors and contribute to advancements in sensor technology.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Take responsibility for analysis results and contribute to documentation.
• Plan and conduct experiments in the field of chemical analysis.
• Apply analytical techniques in practical applications and contribute to technological advancements.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with a strong foundation in physical chemistry.
• Proven practical experience in spectroscopic techniques, including UV-VIS Spectroscopy.
• Expertise in electro-analytical methods, including Voltammetry and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS).
• Knowledge of Embedded Systems.
• Experience and understanding in the development of chemical sensors and sensor technology.
• Interdisciplinary thinking and the ability to systematically analyze complex relationships.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
