Freelance Art and Craft Facilitator

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Art and Craft Facilitator to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. This is a temporary full-time position that will last until the return of the incumbent, but not beyond January 31st, 2026.
About the Job:
- As a Freelance Art and Craft Facilitator, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and practical assistance in various arts and crafts activities to individuals and groups.
- You will explain and demonstrate the proper and safe operation of power and hand tools used in woodwork, leathercrafts, jewelry making, enameling, and graphic art.
- The basic program may be enlarged to include model making, weaving, copper and other metal work, ceramics, and associated arts and crafts as requested by patrons.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of creditable experience in an office or store setting, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging events, or as a cashier.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Valid driver's license class B and ability to obtain and maintain a military driver's license.
- Office automation skills.
- English language proficiency level A2 and German language proficiency level B2.
