We are seeking a dedicated professional

to join our team in the Department of Urban Planning and Building Law

as a Building Law Specialist

in a full-time position (39 or 41 hours/week).

As a Building Law Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our city.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and deciding on building law applications
• Providing expert advice to builders and architects on building law matters
• Issuing building regulations and taking enforcement measures
• Handling disputes and complaints
• Collaborating on other procedures, such as environmental permits and water and nature conservation permits

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in Public Management or a related field, or a diploma in Public Administration
• Ideally, you will have knowledge of building law
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in IT systems

As a Building Law Specialist at the City of Offenburg, you will enjoy a fixed-term employment contract in accordance with the TVöD salary scale, and the possibility of a career in the civil service with a salary up to grade 11 LBesG BW.
