We're looking for a Cloud Security Expert to join our Cyber Security team. As a specialist in cloud security and secure software development, you'll play a critical role in fortifying our travel technology ecosystem.

The Role

In this position, you'll bridge the gap between our IT security, SRE, and development teams. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a deep understanding of our company's business and scope, determining our IT security demands and shaping our security strategy.

You'll work closely with our developers and operations teams to ensure the implementation of company-wide IT security concepts based on common standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Demonstrable 5+ years' expertise as a Security SRE, SecDevOp or Cyber Security Specialist with a focus on secure software development practices in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment;
  • A degree in computer science, cyber security, or a related field;
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java EE, and Spring Framework. Alternative Golang, Python or Rust;
  • A good understanding of web application security principles, OWASP Top Ten, and secure coding practices;
  • An understanding of office IT security principles and a solid understanding of security tools used to detect, monitor and enforce IT security;
  • Expertise in conducting security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing;
  • Bonus qualifications: hands-on experience as a SecDevOp / Developer / Pentester / Administrator / Network Administrator.
