Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Proactive Global. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations: Oversee the overall process and procedures within the logistics and warehouse operations, with the objective of improving cost, service, and flexibility for the business.
- Project Management: Present project proposals, progress, and best practices to internal and external stakeholders.
- Metrics Analysis: Maintain and improve metrics via data analysis, using internal and external reporting data.
- Continuous Improvement: Support and identify Continuous Improvement plans in line with business objectives through scoping and costing of proposed improvements.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including Supply Chain Development, Delivery Solutions, Logistics, Inbound Supply Chain, Finance, Legal & Technology.
- Culture and Diversity: Support our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
- Health and Safety: Promote and improve Health and Safety metrics alongside our 3rd party logistics provider within our warehouses to support our business objectives.
Requirements:
- Warehouse Experience: Knowledge of warehouse processes either on an analyst or manager level is key for this role.
- Operational Management: Previous operational management experience of leading warehouse teams in an E–Commerce and retail environment will support your application.
- Financial Management: Managing operational P&Ls successfully, understanding risks and opportunities and building financial budgets with a proven track record of successfully executing.
- Supply Chain Management: Working within and with 3PLs, supply chain partners and automation with a record in improving customer journey, quality and delivering cost saving initiatives.
- Performance Improvement: Enhancing performance levels and KPI's through end-to-end supply chain management.
- Process Improvement: History of identifying and improving warehouse processes using lean tools, removing waste & non-value add.
- Communication: Proven experience in presenting data, articulating the subject clearly and concisely.
- Labour Planning: Capability planning experience managing labour spend vs volume throughput to highlight risks & opportunities.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborating with Tech & Warehouse teams and WMS systems to support improvements in our fulfilment centres.
- Language Skills: English language is essential, additional knowledge of German and/or Polish is highly welcome.
