Our Graduate Development Programme at Munich Re offers a unique opportunity to advance your expertise in risk underwriting and drive your personal development. Over a period of 24 months, including an international assignment, you will receive in-depth training in professional, methodological, and social skills, qualifying you for assuming responsibility at Munich Re worldwide.

Your Job

  • Work on exciting and varied topics focusing on risk underwriting in the core business of Munich Re, including providing Cyber insurance to large global corporates based on a deep understanding of their Cyber posture.
  • Identify and assess existing and potential risks in highly complex projects all over the world.
  • Seize excellent learning opportunities and cross-functional first-hand experience in our global business units.
  • Participate in an international assignment of three months to broaden your intercultural experience.
  • Acquire profound knowledge of our business and methods as well as further develop your soft skills in our distinguished global learning programme.
  • Take the opportunity to quickly build a broad network of industry experts within Munich Re worldwide.

Your Profile

  • Hold a very good university degree in IT, IT Security, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable degree.
  • Have initial work experience, ideally in IT Security, Cyber, or related business fields (e.g. internships).
  • Have an affinity for cyber topics.
  • possess strong analytical skills.
  • Have experience abroad (studies or internship/work experience abroad).
  • possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Be fluent in (business) English, with additional languages being an advantage.
  • Have a curious and creative mindset.
