Regulatory Manager

E.ON Hydrogen GmbH is a leading company in the energy transition, focusing on building up the green gas business for the E.ON Group. Our mission is to drive forward major multi-regional projects and support regional subsidiaries with green gas projects in areas such as public funding, regulation, and technical blueprints.
Your RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Manager (m/w/d) to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory team, you will be responsible for developing E.ON's regulatory position on hydrogen and green gas based on financial modeling and commercial analysis of regulatory effects. You will also monitor relevant developments in regulatory law and provide strategic guidance and assessments to enable beneficial decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement regulatory strategies to support the growth of E.ON's green gas business
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments in the EU and Germany to identify opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain regulatory tools and guidelines
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on regulatory matters related to green gas
- Participate in industry associations and external bodies to shape regulatory frameworks
- Good economic and/or international regulatory energy industry qualifications
- Above-average diploma or master's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Law
- Deep knowledge of national and/or international regulation with a focus on the EU and Germany
- Well-founded analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as high communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a result-oriented manner
