We're seeking a skilled Digital Security Architect to join our dynamic team at BASF Digital Solutions GmbH. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in cyber security architecture and strategy to drive innovation and growth in our organization.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies that align with our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business and customers.

Responsibilities
  • You will advise on the evaluation of security requirements, collaborate with stakeholders to develop security standards, and lead the initiation and management of security projects.
  • As a Digital Security Architect, you will be responsible for the professional caretaker role for security projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective implementation.
  • You will exchange knowledge and collaborate across teams within the IT organization, fostering a culture of security and innovation.
  • Additionally, you will communicate and coordinate with various internal stakeholders and communities to raise awareness for security during solution design and add value to our business strategy.
  • You will develop and evaluate measures to reduce identified security risks, which have been construed from future threats, as well as possibilities to improve business and innovations through secure technologies.
Qualifications
  • We're looking for a degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security, or Mathematics, along with relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in cyber security architecture and consulting skills is essential, as is strong technical knowledge and fundamentals of IT/OT security, such as network segmentation, firewalls, endpoint security, anomaly detection, and Zero Trust.
  • You should have experience in the field of evaluation and implementation of new cyber solutions and hold certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or OSCP.
  • Good communication skills in English and fluency in German are required.
