SAP IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our team at SHW. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the management and optimization of our SAP system landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the SAP system landscape to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with our SAP hosting partner to ensure seamless system operations.
  • Participate in the migration and implementation of S/4 HANA.
  • Evaluate and manage new programs and systems, including SAP Fiori BTP.
  • Implement and enforce SAP authorization concepts in collaboration with business departments.
  • Manage SAP licenses and ensure compliance.
  • Implement and manage SAP output control (print servers and SAP printers).
  • Set up data interfaces and background jobs according to specifications.
  • Coordinate with IT and business departments to ensure smooth support and maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a computer scientist (m/f/d) with subsequent further education, or a completed university degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Relevant practical experience in SAP Basis consulting and application.
  • Knowledge of SAP authorization concepts or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent team and communication skills, as well as a confident demeanor.
  • Proficient in SAP Basis and MS Office applications.
  • Good German and English language skills are required.
