Senior Digital Media Strategist Role

At DEPT, we're seeking a seasoned Digital Media Strategist to join our Media Strategy team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering end-to-end data-driven campaigns that foster both creativity and performance.

About the Role

You'll work closely with our Client Service team to create and implement strategic plans for well-known brands in our client portfolio. Your primary focus will be on developing long-term digital marketing strategies, including communication, performance, and media tactics, in collaboration with our channel & tech experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create influential and powerful strategies for our clients, ensuring they remain at the forefront of their industries.
  • Support in leading a team of fellow strategists, resulting in quality output of strategic planning across the business.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and industry landscape.
  • Translate insights derived from data into a clear story to convince the client.
  • Develop innovative and data-driven digital marketing strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Work closely together with our specialists (like SEA, SEO, CRM, Data and Social Advertising Consultants).
  • Leverage a deep understanding of marketing, technology, and innovation to create comprehensive plans that drive measurable results.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal execution of campaigns and projects.
  • Be the driving force of projects, starting and finishing them.
  • Drive our internal knowledge and be on the forefront of creating new propositions and best practices.
  • Analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge.

Requirements

  • Fluent in German and English.
  • A seasoned Digital Marketing Strategist with extensive experience, preferably at an agency.
  • Broader digital marketing knowledge (SEO, SEA, Social, Display, Content Marketing, Data etc.).
  • See yourself as a digital generalist, linking the strategic needs of clients to Dept's service portfolio.
  • Can help our clients to go from business strategy to marketing strategy and implement this by giving advice, creating roadmaps and propose concepts.
  • Possess deep knowledge of the technical as well as creative capabilities of the most popular digital marketers/networks (Search, Social, Display, Mobile, DOOH, etc).
  • Are pro-active, energetic, curious and inspiring.
  • Are a driver of innovation.
  • Are a networker and because of this you are able to bring together our different disciplines and specialists.
  • Can explain complex data and information in an easy and understandable manner to Internal & external stakeholders.
  • Approach new tasks proactively and pragmatically.
  • Communicate confidently in German and English.
