About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Software Systems Verification Specialist to join our RSN System Integration Verification and Validation Team. Reporting to the System IVV Manager, you will define, optimize and continuously improve the testing of the RSN system and its regular upgrades from the early stages of development until the end of the operational exploitation.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive system IVV approach, strategy, and tools, ensuring seamless collaboration with development and operations teams.
  • Identify and define system test cases and use cases, overseeing their implementation and execution by the IVV Implementation team.
  • Oversee the processing of system test results and validate the completion of each system test, maintaining the Verification Control Document.
  • Optimize the relationship between system-level testing and segment-level testing, ensuring consistent maintenance of segment Verification Control Documents.
  • Support the Operations Team in defining System Operational Validation scenarios and providing necessary tools and environments.
  • Define priorities in system testing during critical development phases and for system upgrades during the operational exploitation phase.
  • Continuously improve the system IVV strategy, tools, and methods to enable rapid system evolution and provide high availability, high security, and low latency services.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably aerospace or software engineering.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in Integration, Verification, and Validation testing of complex systems, ideally in the space-based communication business.
  • A proven ability to comprehend and master system-level complexity.
  • Knowledge of space business or communication industry would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of agile SW development and test methodology would be an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills, structured work approach combined with a pragmatic, result-oriented mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Conscientious and responsible, with a keen eye for detail and a big-picture perspective.
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.

By connecting our satellites with lasers, we will provide resellers and B2B customers with the ability to securely connect any two points on the globe with low latency and high bandwidth.

Rivada Space Networks is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rivada Networks, Inc. We are working with Terran Orbital to manufacture and SpaceX to launch our satellites. The deployment starts in 2025 with full-service launch in 2026.
