Your Responsibilities
If you are eager to leverage your expertise to strategically advance our Technology and Finance Consulting division, here’s how you can contribute:
- Provide consultancy to our clients in the insurance sector regarding accounting as an expert throughout all phases of development, implementation, and optimization of SAP standard software.
- Serve as a (co-)project leader, team supervisor, business analyst, or system architect, conduct client meetings, and represent collaborative results to clients.
- Influence business and thematic development at KPMG, particularly in the digitalization and automation of financial functions, and act as a point of contact for client management.
- Develop and validate both functional and technical concepts while considering end-to-end processes, data, and systems.
- Conduct Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and design functional specifications, as well as engage in customizing and testing activities.
- You are a Lead Consultant (m/f/d) with a focus on Insurance, holding a degree in fields such as (Insurance) Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences.
- Ideally, you possess at least 2 years of professional experience in the insurance sector, financial services, or a consulting firm, particularly with a focus on accounting.
- You have a keen interest in supporting leading financial institutions (including insurance companies) in SAP transformation projects.
- You possess technical knowledge in accounting (e.g., according to HGB, US-GAAP, IFRS 17, or Solvency II).
- Preferably, you have gained initial SAP project experience (e.g., FPSL, PaPM) for the implementation of regulatory requirements or commercial law.
- Fluent German and English language skills are essential.
- You are willing to travel to provide on-site consultancy to our clients.
