We seek you as a leading railway dispatcher (m/f/d) for the DB InfraGO AG business field at our Gießen location. Your tasks:

• As a leading railway dispatcher, you are responsible for ensuring safe and punctual execution of train and shunting operations, taking into account necessary inspections and precautions, such as track tests on complex infrastructure control systems.
• In case of disruptions to the operational sequence, you perform a hazard assessment, maintain communication with all parties involved, and ensure a safe train operation.
• You work in accordance with valid regulations, including local provisions and operational orders, and document these.
• You are also responsible for issuing, submitting, transmitting, and documenting dispatch-related messages, assignments, commands, and schedule announcements.
• You operate and monitor the assigned rail and safety technology installations as well as telecommunications equipment.

Your profile:

• You have completed a vocational training as a railway dispatcher (EiB F or entry-level transition) and hold an active qualification as a railway dispatcher with very good knowledge of operational service.
• Your working style is characterized by assertiveness, resilience, and problem-solving orientation.
• To ensure trains run around the clock, you will be employed in shift and rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• We require unrestricted fitness for duty and psychological suitability for the role of railway dispatcher.
• A valid driving license of class B and your own car would be desirable.

Gehalt und Benefits

As a Leading Railway Dispatcher (m/f/d), you can expect a monthly salary of approximately €6,500 - €8,500, depending on your qualifications and experience.
