IT Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT / Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Telespazio DE. As a key member of our Systems and Products Engineering department, you will be responsible for implementing and managing critical IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions for our customers in the space sector.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging environment, being (or becoming) the IT / Cybersecurity Expert in a multi-disciplinary team providing ICT Engineering and Secure Connectivity services to the space, defence and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Capture customer needs and design robust, fit-for-purpose critical IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions
- Articulate features and benefits of complex designs, technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Deliver critical IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects from requirement engineering to transfer to operation and provide training on engineered solutions
- Operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of security aspects of critical IT infrastructure, including systems supporting critical operations
- Technical support in proposals production
- University degree in Computer Sciences (or equivalent)
- Experience implementing and operating critical IT infrastructure environments, managing technical service transition, creation and maintenance of support documentation
- Familiarity with security strategy, roadmap, SIEM/Network forensics solutions and security assurance to improve overall IT security
- Strong goal-oriented and planning capabilities, coupled with good problem-solving skills and a customer focus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work in a diverse team environment and accomplish goals in line with team objectives
- Experience with design and implementation of Security Operation Centre (SOC) Infrastructure and Operational Concepts
- Software development skills
- Fluency in German language
- ISO 27001 Certification
- Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2)
- ITIL Certification
