We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of People and Culture to join our team at torqrs. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our people strategy, driving business growth, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement People Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our business objectives, while allowing for local differences.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment process to ensure the acquisition of top talent that aligns with our organization's culture and values.
  • Performance Management: Lead the performance management program, including advising and coaching managers on effective performance appraisal techniques.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement comprehensive training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Employee Relations and Compliance: Oversee all employee relations matters and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Monitor compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are fair, competitive, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Culture and Diversity: Ensure a positive work culture that promotes diversity and inclusion by driving initiatives to increase employee engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage various cultures within the different entities of the torqrs Group.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of proven experience in a People and Culture Leadership role or a similar leadership role in a mid-sized organization, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal language skills in German and English.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use data and analytics to support People strategies and decision making.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business understanding and ability to provide strategic guidance to senior management.
  • Change Management: Experience in leading organizational change initiatives, transition management, and managing through ambiguity (Acquisition of new agencies and mergers of existing organizations).
