We're seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to lead our Plant Utility department. As the Head of Plant Utility, you'll oversee a multi-disciplinary project team engaged in high-tech facility projects. Working alongside engineers and designers, you'll ensure the production of construction documents for various systems, including HVAC wet, plumbing, controls, and more.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Establishing and developing the Plant Utility department within Exyte Central Europe.
- Collaborating with your team to develop concepts and deliverables in line with contractual requirements, ensuring the highest quality and adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Creating a department strategy that aligns with project scopes and identifies the required skillset of employees.
- Developing a staffing plan and collaborating with the HR department to recruit the necessary resources.
- Performing engineering tasks related to the design of utilities and HVAC wet systems for high-tech facilities, such as cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities, and institutional facilities.
Show your expertise
- Successful completion of studies in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in engineering, construction, or commissioning of Building Service Systems. Experience in consulting engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industry, is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build consensus, resolve conflicts, and support the growth and development of team members.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
- Willingness to travel to various sites within Central Europe.
