Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Serial Engineer to join our team at Alstom in Siegen. As a key member of our site, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our bogies and contributing to the success of our global rail traffic operations.
Your Key Responsibilities- Apply and deploy Serial Supplier Quality Assurance policy in collaboration with Procurement, ensuring the quality of low-critical parts and managing supplier performance.
- Manage Non-Conformity day-to-day, including invoicing the Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ S1) to suppliers and securing timely containment actions.
- Develop and implement supplier improvement roadmaps, challenging suppliers to enforce corrective and preventive actions and ensuring strong supplier containment.
- Collaborate with SPQD, SQ Serial Engineers, and Incoming Inspectors to define and register Control Plans in the ERP system, ensuring seamless inspection processes.
- Maintain and publish KPIs, identifying opportunities for performance improvement and ensuring incoming inspection activities are completed within allocated target lead times.
We value passion and attitude over experience, so we're looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Quality or Engineering and a strong understanding of supplier qualifications standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, Local Standards, etc.). Fluency in English and German is essential, and experience in Quality, Production, and supplier relationship management is a plus.
