This role is situated within the esteemed Physics Institute, focusing on the theoretical exploration of condensed matter and quantum optical systems.
Research Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will engage in advanced theoretical research, contributing to the diverse array of topics encompassed by the Cluster of Excellence Matter and Light for Quantum Computing (ML4Q). This position aims to enhance the existing knowledge base and expertise within the department.
Teaching Duties:
As part of the professorship, the candidate will be responsible for delivering educational content in accordance with the Lehrverpflichtungsverordnung NRW. This includes:
1. Conducting lecture courses and seminars across various academic levels.
2. Providing instruction in both German and English.
