Functional Safety Expert

About this Challenge:
The market for electrified vehicles is growing rapidly, driven by increasing customer demands and a competitive landscape. To stay ahead, we need experts who can develop innovative solutions that meet the highest safety standards.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop safety concepts for vehicle systems
- Coordinate with development partners to ensure seamless integration
- Oversee the technical implementation of safety features with suppliers
- Analyze and test electrified vehicle systems to identify potential safety risks
- Provide expert advice on functional safety in international projects
- Support the development of colleagues through knowledge sharing and training
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in functional safety according to ISO 26262
- Experience in requirements management and systems engineering
- Experience in conducting safety analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA, FMEDA)
- Fluent German and English language skills (C1 level) for technical discussions and documentation
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in energy systems and their components
- Experience in electric drive systems and their components
- Experience with requirements management tools like IBM Doors, AVW, Codebeamer, etc.
- Experience with requirements management tools like Reliability Workbench, Medini, etc.
