Mechanical Design Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimations to optimize mechanical design and implementation.
  • Develop and implement mechanical design in CAD and PDM systems to ensure seamless integration.
  • Support the design department in implementing electrical design tasks, including installation space tests and feasibility studies.
  • Assist in the creation of documentation, including assembly and installation instructions, documentation lists, and parts lists.
  • Lead minor customer options and requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar field, with experience in the wind industry being a plus.
  • Proficiency in PDM Systems (Teamcenter), Ticket Systems (ServiceNow), and CAD-Systems (Unigraphics, CREO).
  • Familiarity with the operating principles of wind turbines.
  • Ability to develop detailed engineering drawings using CAD software, with expertise in 3D modeling and drafting.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
  • Fluency in English, with Spanish and/or German being a plus.
