Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage payroll processes for Germany and Austria, ensuring seamless vendor management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/authorities to drive process improvements.
  • Support audit processes, both internal and external, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with employees on payroll-related queries, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Analyze local legal, fiscal, and regulatory requirements to identify areas for process localization.
  • Drive end-to-end process improvements, reviewing gaps between current and planned models, and developing local action plans to implement solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to enable effective user acceptance and support training & change management activities.
  • Support data mapping/validation/acceptance activities to ensure seamless payroll delivery.
What We're Looking For
  • A data-savvy Payroll Specialist with hands-on experience in managing payroll and Time & Attendance processes within a complex international organization.
  • Fluency in English and German is a must, with broader HR Operations experience and exposure to an outsourced payroll model and knowledge about Workday being a plus.
  • Ability to effectively engage and mobilize diverse local HR stakeholders, with flexibility and adaptability to operate in a fast-paced, developing project environment.
  • Resilience is a key factor in this role, with a collaborative working style that fosters cooperation and teamwork.
  • A highly analytical mindset with a strong eye for detail, and a structured working style with a focus on delivering results as per agreed timescales and scope.
