About the Role

The Université du Luxembourg is seeking a highly skilled EU Grant Management Specialist to join its Research Support Department. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative and strategic support for the entity in line with outstanding EU grant management standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of the Research Support Department with all aspects of EU grant management procedures, including the preparation of guidelines, checklists, tools, and verification of budgets during the proposal, grant submission, and grant preparation stages.
  • Ensure contract and project implementation in full compliance with the funder's rules and requirements.
  • Provide advice and guidance to Research Facilitators, Principal Investigators, and other stakeholders on EU framework advisory, compliance, and interpretation.
  • Engage with stakeholder communities (internal and external) and coordinate EU working groups, building up partnerships and networks.
  • Establish and update coherent central procedures for research data retrieval related to EU Grants.
Requirements
  • University degree in management studies or equivalent professional experience in an area relevant to research evaluation.
  • Long track record and experience of grant administration in an EU support/research office function or within the European Commission Services.
  • Experience with European Commission funding mechanisms, rules, and requirements, with a focus on developing procedures, workflows, templates, and guidelines.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to prioritise workload, keep deadlines, and work on different tasks in parallel.
  • Very good communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of English and fluency in French and/or German.
