About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at REWE. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including fresh produce, meats, dairy products, and other grocery items.
  • Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and providing recommendations on products.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Work collaboratively with other sales associates and store staff to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the grocery or food industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
