We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team at MAM Gruppe. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network and firewall solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Network Planning and Implementation: Design and implement network and firewall solutions to meet the needs of our organization.
- Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and security, and perform proactive troubleshooting to ensure optimal network operation.
- Project Management: Plan and execute projects, including time management, resource allocation, and budget control.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with international IT teams to plan and execute integrations and upgrades, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Security and Compliance: Design and implement security policies and procedures, and document network configurations and security policies.
- Team Support: Provide support to other team members with network and firewall-related issues.
- Education: Degree in computer science, information technology, or comparable qualification.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in network and firewall administration.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge in the configuration and administration of firewalls and switches (preferably Sophos, Fortinet, Cisco, DELL), experience with network protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, WAN and MPLS), and certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP.
- Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, strong communication and teamwork skills, and business fluency in German and English.
