The Role

• Plan and implement patient care strategies, including hygiene, nutrition, positioning, mobilization, and prophylaxis for ventilated and non-ventilated patients.
• Provide wound care according to aseptic and septic standards.
• Administer medication orally, subcutaneously, intramuscularly, and intravenously.
• Develop and implement emergency management plans.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Suction secretions and handle and care for various medical devices.
• Monitor and document vital parameters.
• Assist doctors in various medical and surgical procedures.
• Observe and record changes in patients’ general conditions.
• Prepare materials and patients for nursing procedures.
• Collect laboratory specimens for investigations.
• Balancing fluids and electrolytes.
• Insertion and care of nasogastric tubes, peripheral venous access, and transurethral catheters.
