About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced M&A Associate to join our team at MCF Corporate Finance GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working on sell- and buy-side mandates as well as equity financing mandates with exposure to various segments of the technology industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on complex transactions with exposure to various segments of the technology industry
  • Collaborate with different client groups, including founders / entrepreneurs, financial sponsors (VC, PE, Growth, etc.) and corporates
  • Manage project workstreams and material preparations autonomously
  • Develop and train junior team members
Requirements
  • Excellent educational background with a strong degree
  • 3-4 years of experience in corporate finance advisory or investment banking, from an international investment bank, another boutique advisory firm or an accounting background, preferably with one of the Big 4 accountancy firms
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Great interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with a self-starter mentality and the ability to get things done, demonstrating an entrepreneurial and technology mindset as well as the ability to work in a high focused team environment
  • Experience in financial modelling with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and strong skills in collaborative situations
