Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team at Quipu GmbH in Frankfurt. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing comprehensive end-to-end solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop business solutions, system integrations, and identify design patterns with emphasis on reuse, scalability, performance, availability, and security.
- Propose application modernization solutions, application lifecycle management efficiencies, and continuous improvements by identifying gaps in existing deployment and L3 production issues.
- Collaborate with development, Infrastructure, and Site Reliability Engineering teams to ensure proper implementation of solutions.
- Assist with Incident Response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architect for design reviews, methodologies, and best practices.
- Maintain architecture diagrams and ensure they accurately reflect the current state of solutions.
- University Degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Engineering, or Business IT studies would be a plus)
- Experience in analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of application systems based on.NET Framework, IIS, Windows & WCF Services, Microsoft SQL Server, and Reporting Services
- Experience with architecting full-stack IT modernization strategies with focus on resilience, reliability, performance, and high availability
- Experience in application integration (Webservices, APIs, queues, batches, etc)
- Strong experience on Azure cloud services, with an emphasis on following services: SQL Databases, VMs, API Management, Application Gateway / Azure Frontdoor, General Azure networking and security
- Experience with following services is desired and considered as a plus: Kubernetes on Azure, Azure containerization, Azure data services like Databricks, Purview, Synapse, etc
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and / or Azure DevOps is desired and considered as a plus
- Open to gain knowledge and work with DevOps methodologies and Public Cloud services, like Microsoft Azure; any previous experience would be an advantage
- Previous experience in financial sector is a plus
- Azure certifications are a plus
- Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
