Financial Controller Job Description

At PCI Pharma Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of our Site Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across our global network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial and operational strategies to increase shareholder value.
  • Oversee financial planning and performance management analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage all aspects of cash flow, with a focus on delivering continuous improvements in Net Working Capital management.
  • Drive process improvements leveraging digital technology and support the development of our ERP platform.
  • Foster strong relationships with our PCI Bridgend team to ensure seamless finance functions.
  • Complete month-end procedures, reconciliations, and investigation of variances.
  • Provide technical accounting support and ensure compliance with latest accounting standards.
  • Support the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Manage payroll process and ensure accurate and timely payments to employees and outside agencies.
  • Maintain compliance with PCI Financial Policies and lead the annual financial audit.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Finance Business Partnering, with exposure to Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain.
  • Superior analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptionally well organized, flexible, and adaptable to changing conditions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, forecasting, and financial modelling.
