Local Projects and Events Coordinator

Are you passionate about contributing to social causes and organizing events that inspire young talents for natural sciences? We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA as a Local Projects and Events Coordinator.

This is a permanent part-time (50%) position at our Headquarter in Einbeck. As a member of the Public Affairs & Arts team, you will be responsible for organizing events such as the Jugend forscht competition for 9-14 year olds, as well as other local projects and events that strengthen our social commitment.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Event organization of "Jugend forscht" competition in Einbeck
  • Organization and promotion of other local events in the area of social commitment
  • Supporting and evaluating local community projects in Einbeck
  • Manage relations to local and regional stakeholder groups, sponsoring and communication activities

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Any completed vocational training or a higher education degree
  • Excellent German language skills and good knowledge of English
  • Very good project and event management skills
  • Experience in working with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Preferred experience in working together with local communities
  • Very good communication and influencing skills
  • Good customer orientation and extraordinary service attitude
  • Cooperative and team-working mindset
