Dynamic Power System Model Reduction in DIgSILENT PowerFactory

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our Grid Technologies Business Unit, you will be responsible for developing and implementing dynamic model reduction algorithms in DIgSILENT PowerFactory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement dynamic model reduction techniques using power system analysis and algorithmic approaches
  • Evaluate and present project results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate model reduction algorithms into DIgSILENT PowerFactory

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of power system dynamics and control theory
  • Experience with power system simulation tools, such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory
  • Proficiency in Python programming language
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
