Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Trading Support Intern to join our team at Societe Generale. As an IT Trading Support Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our traders on automation and data analysis tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop IT tools to improve the quality and profitability of the trading team
  • Automate Front Office processes
  • Improve profitability through data analysis
  • Optional: Assist in developing Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning and/or Deep Learning)
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or IT curriculum
  • Basic knowledge in Finance, specifically in financial and derivative products
  • Good knowledge in coding language in Python, VBA is desirable
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) necessary to work in an international environment

  • Excellent communication skills necessary to work with colleagues from different professional and cultural backgrounds
  • Good programming skills
  • Articulate, friendly, and approachable team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and being stress resilient
