The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is seeking an experienced and innovative Centre Director to lead our Centre of European Transformation. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and growing our Centre, fostering a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring a productive and harmonious work environment.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure the effective dissemination and utilization of research outputs.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Contribute to defining and implementing the Centre's strategic vision.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives, to promote the Centre's work and secure partnerships.
  • Represent the Centre in various forums, presenting our work to a diverse audience.
  • Identify new research opportunities and partnerships that align with the Centre's objectives.
  • Lead the planning and execution of events, forums, and other initiatives to promote the Centre's visibility and impact.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation, facilitating the exchange of ideas to drive the Centre forward.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the research process within the team, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with researchers to identify key messages and translate findings into actionable insights for a wider audience.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance or Economics required (PhD is a plus).
  • Proven experience in a managerial role (within a research or academic setting is a plus).
  • Demonstrated strong project management and independent problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and strong collaborative decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage and build networks with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German and English (any other European language is a plus).
