About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Unit Operations Manager to join our team at Newrest. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the management of our onboarding unit, ensuring the quality of services offered to our customers and the fulfillment of our commitments to them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality level of services offered by Newrest to its customers and ensure the fulfillment of Newrest's commitments to its customers.
- Optimize financial targets and implement the Group strategy to achieve sales growth in line with the development of the objectives set.
- Manage the unit's continuous improvement process, identifying non-value-added activities that need to be reduced and carrying out audits of working methods and procedures.
- Ensure the quality of relations with all authorities, service providers, internal and external contacts of the unit.
- Ensure that production, organization, verification of figures and forecasts run smoothly, and optimize personnel management and maintain productivity indicators in line with Group standards.
- Maintain a good social climate and compliance with agreements and applicable regulations.
- Ensure the good image of the company (equipment, condition of lorries, buildings, etc.) and ensure the application of Group procedures and standards (sales, operations, finance, purchasing, QHSE).
Requirements:
- An operational profile with at least 5 years' experience, preferably in in-flight catering.
- Proven skills in operational management, cost management, QHSE, and Basic HR.
- Commercial awareness, charisma, and leadership skills in managing local teams.
- Hands-on personality, English fluent, German sufficient, and very good IT skills.
