Join Our Team as a Reliability Engineer/Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Reliability Engineer/Data Scientist to join our team at Mercedes-Benz. As a key member of our quality management department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of mature products to our customers.

About the Role

As a Reliability Engineer/Data Scientist, you will be responsible for performing technical risk classification in new product projects and facelifts for drive projects. You will also prepare reliability analyses and represent them in your projects to assess the maturity level in the development process. Additionally, you will design data-based use cases for customer usage behavior in the field and for test validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design data-based use cases for customer usage behavior in the field and for test validation
  • Further develop and digitalize our methods and tools in the team and with our partners in QM, RD, and IT
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in engineering, natural sciences, mathematics, or data science. You should have professional experience in quality management, development, or production environments and good basic knowledge of risk management methods, reliability, and statistics. Additionally, you should have good technical understanding and data science and programming skills (Python, R, SQL), as well as good knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in German and English.
