About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to join our team at A100 ROW GmbH. As an Engineering Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of facility staff and overseeing the operations and maintenance of our data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and maintain the highest standard for safety and actively promote a world-class safety culture.
- Hire, manage, develop, and coach a team of line-level facility staff.
- Collaborate with other team leaders, including Finance, Safety, HR, and Recruiting.
- Manage vendors and vendor contracting negotiations.
- Implement strategic preventative maintenance and corrective break-fix planning on mission-critical infrastructures.
- Review and approve equipment maintenance and repair processes and procedures.
- Prepare for and lead the team through facility infrastructure incident management plans.

You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- An engineering degree or equivalent.
- 4+ years of relevant engineering experience managing large-scale services.
- At least 2 years of team management experience in a mission-critical culture.
- Prior ownership of the operation of a mission-critical team and/or product.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in mission-critical operations environments (e.g., nuclear facility, high technology manufacturing, healthcare, aviation maintenance, oil and gas).
- Experience in 24/7 uninterrupted operations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of success in delivering complex projects.
