About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Foundry Developer to join our team at SAP. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud services running in a cloud environment. Our team practices agile development methods, pair programming, Software Craftmanship, GitOps, and Test-Driven-Development, and works in an environment with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to open-source projects of the Cloud Foundry Foundation
  • Ensure the BTP Cloud Foundry Platform runs stable and reliably
  • Care about local code and push to production
  • Learn and apply new concepts, processes, and modern open-source technologies
  • Collaborate with teams worldwide within the company and the Cloud Foundry community

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 3+ years of relevant work experience in a related field
  • Good knowledge in Python, Golang, or Ruby is a plus
  • Familiarity with agile methods, test-driven development, continuous integration, and pair programming
  • Experience with BASH, HTTP, and SQL
  • Preferably cloud development or distributed systems experience and Cloud Platforms, eg SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud
  • Very good English language skills (verbal and written), German skills are a plus
  • Knowledge on Test framework, eg RSpec, Ginkgo, JUnit/Mockito and continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Concourse is a plus
