Medical Affairs Manager EMEA Job Description

Merz Aesthetics GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs Manager EMEA to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Affairs department, you will be responsible for developing and executing scientific education and training programs for regional medical affairs in EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute premium scientific training events, including MEXS events, symposia, and other educational initiatives.
  • Evaluate medical literature and translate it into impactful communication for regional/local teams.
  • Create study synopses, objection handlers, scientific messaging, KOL slide decks, and science briefs.
  • Support the execution of Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs) and develop a scientific data generation strategy.
  • Provide proactive input of KOL insights for strategic projects and materials for HCPs and consumers.
  • Collaborate with the digital innovation team to drive the development and implementation of innovative medical communication channels and tools.
Requirements:
  • Clinical and scientific medical background, such as an MD, specialist, and/or PhD, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience and competency in aesthetic medicine and medical affairs, KOL management, and preferably as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).
  • Strong understanding of scientific data and ability to translate it into easy-to-understand messages for non-medical audiences.
  • Excellent English-speaking skills, both written and oral.
  • Comfortable using common IT tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
