Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Foreman to join our team in Essen. As an Industrial Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team of production employees and overseeing the implementation of improvement points, leading small projects, and conducting root cause analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement specified improvement points to optimize production processes
- Lead small projects to drive business growth and improve efficiency
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify and resolve production issues
- Perform downtime and standstill analyses to minimize production losses
- Create maintenance plans for new equipment and modifications, as well as adjust existing maintenance plans in terms of content and intervals
- Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality products
- Plan, prepare, execute, document, and verify the effectiveness of training measures
- Identify training needs and maintain the qualification matrix
- Instruct employees in the production area and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Prepare reports for the supervisory position
Requirements
- Completed training as an industrial foreman with prior vocational training in a metal profession
- First professional experience in leading production employees or a similar role
- Experience in metal manufacturing mass production and in planning machine occupancy and maintenance
- Basic MS Office and English skills required, SAP knowledge advantageous
- Strong presence and good communication skills are a big plus
- Above-average self-motivated, action-oriented, and results-driven
- Team-oriented and assertive
- Methodological competence
