Job Title: Data Engineer

Are you looking to work in a dynamic environment with cutting-edge sensing solutions? We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our hybrid (Cloud and Edge) IoT data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a robust and scalable data catalogue to effectively manage metadata, ensuring data governance, management, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a highly efficient storage layer to handle large amounts of sensor data, ensuring data integrity, speed, and scalability.
  • Translate business challenges into scalable data architectures, working closely with Data Science, Operations, and Business teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of current technologies, future trends, and innovative methods through continuous training, cross-industry networking, and conference attendance.
Requirements:
  • Technical degree in computer science or related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in data engineering, preferably in big data, IoT, and sensor data management.
  • Excellent knowledge of state-of-the-art storage technologies and their productive use.
  • Sound programming skills in development with Python or other programming languages.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Excellent analytical skills and a quick grasp of complex concepts.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI workloads and MLOps.
  • Familiarity with stream processing technologies (Apache Flink, Spark, Storm, or Kafka).
