Job Summary

As a skilled Welder on the Logos Hope vessel, you will be part of the Maintenance team responsible for the installation and modification of existing pipe systems and steel constructions. You will work under the leadership of the Accommodation Services Engineering Officer and be expected to have expert knowledge in SMAW, GMAW, and TIG welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and modification of pipe systems and steel constructions
  • Working under the leadership of the Accommodation Services Engineering Officer

Requirements

  • Welding experience in a marine environment with expertise in SMAW, GMAW, and TIG welding techniques
  • Holder of a certificate for plate and pipe welding
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of electric tools, heating torch, plasma cutter, pipe bending machine, threading machine, etc.
  • Problem-solving skills and manual dexterity
  • Preferably having good fitting experience and skills
  • Ability to work with a small team and contribute to overall project goals regarding personal and environmental safety, efficiency, and quality
  • Good English ability, both in spoken and written form
