Senior Information Security Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Analyst to join our team at LYNX Berlin. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage IT Security projects company-wide, guiding junior team members and coordinating stakeholders from other teams.
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement security incident response plans and conduct incident investigations.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential security threats and incidents.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security analysts and other IT staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Information security analysis, with a focus on IAM and project management.
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, operating systems, and web application architecture.
  • Experience with incident response and investigation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
