Job Opportunity in IT-Security Research
The Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) is seeking an exceptional candidate for a Ph.D. student/research assistant position in the field of IT-security. Our research group focuses on top-level research on IT-security using techniques and tools from Artificial Intelligence.
Research Focus
Our research topics include:
- Analysis of attacks against IT-systems
- Analysis and reverse engineering of malware
- Assisted discovery of vulnerabilities
- Fuzz Testing (Fuzzing)
- Explainability of machine learning in computer security (XAI)
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have a Master's degree in computer science or a related field and excellent knowledge in computer security. You should also demonstrate enthusiasm for conducting research on cutting-edge topics in computer security and be willing to tackle challenging problems.

Salary and Category
The salary category is 13 TV-L, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
