ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled Shift Lead to join our Playout Service Management Centre in Munich, Germany.

As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery, and managing the day-to-day operational activities during your shift.

You will oversee the coordination and distribution of workload among operational workstations, provide 24/7 escalation support for service delivery and major incident management, and take ownership of incident tickets and escalation processes until resolution.

Additionally, you will assist with technical diagnostics, communicate major incidents to internal teams and external third parties, and manage the onboarding and offboarding of new services.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed a broadcasting focused apprenticeship or equivalent studies.
• At least five years of experience in a broadcasting environment (Playout, MCR, or NOC).
• A technical background is beneficial.
• Extensive knowledge of both classical and IP-based broadcasting systems.
• A strong sense of responsibility and a confident, proactive attitude.
• Excellent service and customer orientation.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
